The Maggie May
She was commissioned in September 2004 and put in the water April 2005. She was built in England, ferried across to France and launched at Migennes on the river Yonne. Since then she has covered all but a few kilometres of the French waterways, some 7000 kilometres without so much as a twitch! This is probably the finest 139 ever built. Tenderly looked after and loaded with extras (details further down the page) she has given her owners six summers of sheer joy on the French rivers and canals. Alas the time has come to move on. Reluctantly she is now looking for new masters to care for her.
