In order to fulfil our new craft requirement for our hire fleet at a reasonable cost we have been obliged to investigate boat builders the length and breadth of Europe. UK boat builders have the knowledge and the skill, but costs are prohibitive, while Eastern European builders offer the price but not the quality. After a long search we believe we have found the ideal solution, a UK boat builder who has a production facility in the Czech republic. Elton Moss Boat Builders have been building both narrow and wide beam boats in the UK for many years. They have now transferred their knowledge, skills and quality control to an overseas production unit.  By doing this they have been able to take advantage of a low cost environment with a skilled local workforce whilst the retaining UK management and quality control.

The first boats we are going to build using this approach will be the EuroClassic 139 at a cost of £170,000 including VAT and delivery to France. The specification whilst being standard will be very comprehensive and will meet the requirements of the France Afloat hire fleet as well as the private owner.  This price represents a 20% reduction on the equivalent UK price, while quality, production time and specification remain the same if not better. We intend to start building the first boat shortly and if you would like to join us in the sponsorship scheme then we are offering the first boat at a reduced price of £164,500 including VAT and delivery to France.
