The outside of the hull and chines were sanded back for the survey and then repainted in twin pack epoxy pitch with antifouling applied.
The cabin paintwork is in good order but the cabin sides and the decks and coach roof top will be repainted soon

45 ft x 12 ft Explorer live aboard barge built by us in 1999/2000 and now bought back from the owner and offered for resale at our works.
The vessel has just passed a hull survey with flying colours and is offered with
a full parts and labour warranty from
Peter Nicholls Yachtbuilders Ltd.
While she was well looked after by a careful owner, we have completed, and are doing, work to bring her up to scratch for resale.
Berths for 2 plus 3. 5 in total.
She can be seen out of the water at our works, with video footage available of a recent trip through France, Belgium and Holland for her to be trucked back to the UK.

Residential moorings are available in London and elsewhere in UK and Europe. Or she can be delivered to France again to resume her travels there.
With wheelhouse removed she is also ideal to cruise UK wide beam waterways such as the Upper Grand Union Canal, Kennet and Avon, Rivers Thames, Seven and Trent etc.
She has a new BSS Certificate valid for the next 4 years.

Recent AGM batteries for domestics and wet 12 volt battery engine start
The engine room is in good order, clean and tidy with the original paintwork showing very little deterioration.
The engine is easily accessed and there is ample storage in the compartment.
10mm plate base, 6mm hull sides and chine, 4mm cabin.
Hull condition survey 15th Sept 2012 states that she is "in good structural condition" The hull was originally built by us in excess of The British Marine Federation Code of Practice for wide beam pleasure craft.
